Brattleboro Elks Lodge #1499’s ChasingZERO

Brattleboro Elks Lodge #1499’s ChasingZERO had the 2nd annual ‘Salute to Service” where the Brattleboro Union High School Varsity Football Team Honored Veterans on August 30, 2024 before the team’s first Football Game of the Season! Congratulations to Curly Worden for receiving the 1st ChasingZERO Outstanding Veterans Award. Presented at the 2024 “Salute to Service” by Chase Stanley.
Note: ChasingZERO 22 mile walk for Veteran Sucide will be held on Saturday September 7th at the Brattleboro Union High School’s Track from 10am-2pm. Come and find out how ChasingZERO works with our Students and Communities.

Bennington Elks Lodge donates to K-9 Unit

Bennington Elks lodge #567 donates $1,000 to the Bennington Police Departments K-9 Unit.

Kaman Corporation donates AED

Kaman Corporation has donated $3,000 for an AED to the Elks lodge #567 in Bennington, VT. 
 We at the Elks are grateful to have this possibly lifesaving device at our lodge for members and guests in case it is needed.

Veteran’s May dinner Bennington Elks #567

On a cool and rainy day, Sunday May 5th, 2024, we helped transport 24 Veteran’s to the Elks lodge. (Less Veterans due to illness on one wing of the Veteran’s home)
The veterans and their 21 family members were treated to a filet mignon dinner with desserts prepared by members Greg and Jim Pinsonneault. Following their meal many veterans’ played bingo for prizes donated by the Elks. Thanks to lodge members Mike Kinney, Gary, Kitty, Ryan and Kristen Lewis, Scott and Dane Dickie, Kelly Kervan and volunteer helpers Ryan Marsden, Killian Kervan, Parker Lewis and VVH staff.
